Catherine Mansell, artist from Westerly, RI, has been chosen to display an artwork in the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club’s Members’ and Associates’ Online Exhibition. Artwork was selected and juried for awards by Debra Nadelhoffer. Established in 1896, CLWAC remains committed to providing exhibitions opportunities for women artists. CLWAC members are represented in museums, corporate and private collections and galleries worldwide.

The artwork presents an abstract forest scene dominated by tall, slender tree trunks vertical in arrangement. The color palette is vibrant, with a strong emphasis on various shades of blue representing the sky and foliage, accented by patches of green that suggest leaves or vegetation. The tree trunks are rendered in muted earth tones, creating a stark contrast with the dynamic, swirling background. The composition blends a sense of depth and movement through layered textures and watercolor-like washes, conveying an ethereal and almost dreamlike atmosphere within the forest setting
